Q. Do I need to pre-book the classes or can my child turn up on the day?
Please pre-book, we are sometimes limited for spaces so please contact us to book your child a place.
Q: What should my child wear to classes?
Leggings/shorts and t-shirt are suitable for the 1st half term. After this point correct uniform should be worn.
We will have price lists and order details of uniform for you when you sign up.
Pre-school age classes have optional uniform.
Please ensure hair is tied back.
Q: Do you offer classes for older children?
Currently our students are mostly aged from 2yrs - 14yrs however we do not have an upper age limit and have up to 18yr olds in our youth classes and also an adult class.
Q: Should they arrive ready and dressed for the class?
If possible yes - we have some facilities but they are limited.
Q: Can I stay and watch my child?
For the pre-school age classes, please stay with your child as the class is designed for you to join in if your child wants you to.
In some venues we are able to allow a parent/carer to watch.
As long as your child is able to use the bathroom facilities unaided you are welcome to drop off your child and pick them up at the end of the session.
Q: Will there be shows and performances?
We hold our 'big' school show involving all pupils once a year at The Pavilion Exmouth. In addition to the annual show our Junior and Senior Theatre Company also perform their own show. We hold special Christmas presentation/open classes. We also perform in our community at Residential homes and hope to add more venues to our years performance 'timetable'!
Q: Are exam sessions compulsory?
We will be following the structure of the IDTA (International Dance Teacher Association) syllabus and there will be the opportunity to take exams and Awards in Ballet, Tap and Street/Jazz. However, this is not compulsory.
Q: When are fees payable?
Fee information will be given out prior to the term start dates, please ensure the following half term is paid for before the 1st week of term.
If fees remain unpaid after this, there will be an added administration fee.
